About Vonhintz German Shepherds
Our home is located in northern Michigan. We are 35 minutes north of Grand Rapids. We are located in southeastern corner of Newaygo county (Grant MI). Our home is a modest home on a very private 3 acres. We are a family of German Shepherd Dog lovers. We are a small and fairly new business (2007) with several very successful litters (refer to our testimonial page or past puppy pages). Our dogs are given lots of attention as they are part of our family. I rotate our dogs as far as who lives inside our home with us. We spend countless hours with our dogs, training, swimming, walking etc.. and they are currently being trained to excel in their drive levels. Our hope is to provide you with a great quality German shepherd to enjoy and love as we do at a price you can afford. Our dogs are strong, healthy,socialized and part of our family on many levels. All puppies are born and raised in the home with us. They may go to an outside puppy area if weather permits at the age of 6 or 7 weeks old. We at Vonhintz German Shepherds sell west German lines and some west German cross German Shepherd puppies, and are continually striving to improve the German shepherd dog. We focus on healthy and sound temperament and sound minds stable nerves and A1 hips. German Shepherds are great for families and children, show, police work, sent work, agility, narcotics and schutzhund etc...
In addition we only breed two or three litters a year. We invite you to get on our waiting list to guarantee you a puppy.

The German shepherd will thrive best when given a purpose or job to do.
